Akyse Brown scored 24 points, including the winning three-point play with 0.6 seconds left, as No. 4 Center Moriches upset top-seeded Southampton, 69-67, in a Suffolk Class B boys basketball semifinal Monday.

With the Red Devils down a point, Brown drove the baseline, hit a floater and was fouled. Donovan Trent's free throw had given Southampton a 67-66 lead with 6.4 seconds remaining.

Tim Rowland and Maleek Harris each had 15 points for Center Moriches (13-5) which faces No. 2 Babylon in the final at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Farmingdale State.

Babylon 44, Hampton Bays 41: Nahari Jenkins had 20 points, including two free throws with 10 seconds left, to lead No. 2 Babylon (10-5) in a Class B semifinal. Max DeMartino scored 11 points in a 22-7 third quarter. Danny Martel had 13 points for No. 3 Hampton Bays (11-8).GIRLS BASKETBALL
