IMRAN RITCHIE
Uniondale, basketball
He had a triple-double, scoring 20 points, grabbing 12 rebounds and dishing for 11 assists in the Knights' 57-51 victory over Syosset. Ritchie added 20 points, seven rebounds and seven assists in a victory over Oceanside.
PATRICK JACKSON
St. Mary's, basketball
He scored 32 of his career-high 40 points in the second half of a 61-51 CHSAA victory over St. Dominic.
DEAN SIMEONE
Newfield, basketball
Senior scored a career-high 27 points and grabbed 14 rebounds as the Wolverines outlasted Copiague, 81-76 in overtime.
DENNIS RUSSEL
Longwood, track
The senior won the weight throw at the Millrose Games Trials at the Armory. Russel tossed the weight 65 feet, five inches. The win qualified him for the Millrose Games.
CRYSTAL GREEN
Uniondale, track
Junior won the Nassau Conference I title in the 55 hurdles in 8.78 seconds and the 300 in 41.80 seconds.
MATT ARAUJO
St. John the Baptist, hockey
He leads first-place St. John the Baptist with 25 goals and 17 assists.
RYAN DURNEY
Kellenberg, basketball
He scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead Kellenberg (2-1) in its CHSAA win over Chaminade. Durney went 15-for-17 at the free-throw line during the fourth quarter and overtime.
JAKOB RESTREPO
Sachem East, wrestling
He was named the most outstanding wrestler as he won the 145-pound weight class at the prestigious Eastern States Tournament.
TRAVIS PASSARO
Eastport-South Manor, wrestling
The senior won the 126-pound weight class at the Eastern States Tournament over the weekend and won a 12-0 major decision over C.J. Archer in a League V dual meet.
SAMANTHA DELANEY
Smithtown East, basketball
Had 26 points and 16 rebounds in a 60-55 win over Riverhead, and 20 points and 19 rebounds in 49-43 win over Smithtown West. Delaney also scored 21 in a loss to Copiague.
KAELA HILAIRE
Floral Park, basketball
She had 30 points and 14 assists in an 85-65 win over North Shore.
