Jessie Govan, Stephen Milhaven lead St. Mary's boys basketball to overtime victory
Jessie Govan scored seven of his 22 points in overtime as St. Mary's held off Poly Prep, 85-80, in a non-league boys basketball game Monday. Stephen Milhaven had 24 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists. Devonte Green added 22 points, including two free throws with 15 seconds left in the extra session for St. Mary's (8-4).
Poly Prep's Charles Marquardt (23 points) hit a three-pointer with four seconds left in regulation to force overtime.
Seaford 68, Smithtown Christian 58: James Curley had 23 points and Peter Adorno had 19 points and 13 rebounds for Seaford (6-2) in non-league. Seaford coach Ralph Rosseti is a win shy of his 300th career victory. Rich DiPuma added 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Lawrence Woodmere Academy 79, Our Savior Lutheran 39: Rokas Lapsys had 21 points and 14 rebounds and Alex Kompageorgas added 18 points for Lawrence Woodmere (6-0) in PSAA. BOYS BOWLING
Hewlett 3, Freeport 0: Robert Presser bowled a 220 in the third game of a 636 series and Austin Brown had a 211 in the first game of a 628 series as Hewlett (10-0) clinched the Nassau Conference V title with a 738-536, 816-526, 832-514 win.

Plainedge 3, Division 0: Meghan Wing bowled 258 in the middle game of a 693 series for Plainedge (10-0) in a 621-546, 586-468, 583-568 win in Nassau Conference VII.
