Trent Parrish had 28 points as Lawrence Woodmere Academy topped Evangel Christian, 71-56, to win the PSAA championship on Thursday night.

It is the fifth straight PSAA title for Lawrence Woodmere.

Parrish, who had 19 points and 11 rebounds in LWA's 67-60 win over Bayridge Prep in a PSAA semifinal Tuesday, also had 12 rebounds and six steals against Evangel Christian and was named the PSAA playoff MVP.

Jake Lundenberg had 19 points, including five three-pointers, and seven assists and Rokas Lapsys 10 points for Lawrence Woodmere (21-3), which outscored Evangel Christian 19-8 in the third quarter for a 48-31 lead.
