Jamel Allen, Brentwood, F/C, 6-6, Sr.

Allen is an athletic, high-flying big who can score in a variety of ways -- in transition, from the outside, in the post. He is a solid rebounder and shot blocker.

Ramel Allen, Brentwood, F, 6-3, Jr.

Allen is a key new addition to Brentwood's starting five. Like his older brother, Jamel, he can score from long range and also dunk.

Michael Almonacy, Brentwood, G, 6-0, Sr.

A heady point guard and Stony Brook commit, Almonacy can shoot -- he made 47 three-pointers last season -- but his ability to direct the offense sets him apart.

Richard Altenord, Half Hollow Hills West, G, 6-4, Sr.

Strong and quick, Altenord is a handful on the drive. He averaged 14 points and five assists per game last season.

Jordan Armstrong, Roosevelt, F, 6-4, Sr.

A talented offensive player, Armstrong is Nassau's top returning scorer -- alongside East Rockaway's Danny Fusco -- at 22.6 points per game. An injury sidelined him for the early part of the season, but he is expected to return in January.

Keandre Augustine, Roslyn, G, 5-9, Sr.

Augustine, a two-time all-county selection, averaged 20 points, five assists and three steals last season. The athletic guard spearheads the Bulldogs' up-tempo offense.

Tim Awosika, South Side, C, 6-8, Sr.

Awosika patrols the paint for South Side, averaging nine points, nine rebounds and 3.5 blocks per game last season.

Justin Caldwell, Baldwin, C, 6-7, Sr.

Caldwell will be called upon to have a bigger role in the middle, and he seems ready for the challenge.

Rojaye Campbell, Long Island Lutheran, C, 6-9, Sr.

Charles is a strong, talented scorer, who averaged 17 points and eight rebounds per game last season. He can score off the bounce and from long range, and finish with authority at the rim.

An athletic wing who averaged 18.1 points per game for St. Mary's last year, Coalmon should bolster LuHi's frontcourt.

Kian Dalyrimple, Half Hollow Hills West, G, 6-5, Sr.

A potent scorer and deadly shooter, Kennedy-Gay will take the next step after averaging 10.6 points per game as a sophomore.

Manning, a transfer, averaged 22.9 points per game while leading Bridgehampton to the state Class D championship last season.

My’Quel Matthews, Central Islip, G/F, 6-2, Sr.

An athletic dunker, Matthews is on the short list of Long Island's breakout candidates. He averaged 4.7 points per game last season, but he showed flashes of dominant scoring potential.

Brendan McGovern, St. John the Baptist, G, Sr.

McGovern played his way into the starting lineup last season and finished with double-digit points in three of his final four games.

Mike McGuire, Chaminade, G, 6-1, Sr.

McGuire averaged 10.2 points and 2.7 three-pointers per game last season as the Flyers won the NSCHSAA title and reached the Federation semifinals.

Alex Merhige, Harborfields, F, 6-4, Jr.

Merhige is a reliable rebounder and capable scorer. He'll have a chance to average a double-double this year, after posting seven points and nine rebounds per game as a sophomore.

Andre Morgan, Copiague, F, 6-6, Sr.

Morgan averaged 6.3 points per game last year for a team that reached the Suffolk Class AA final four. He's the only returning starter from that squad, and his offensive load has increased.

Pecorelli is a dangerous all-around player, most evident by his 16-point, 20-rebound, 7-assist showing against Rocky point last season. Pecorelli averaged 15.8 points per game.

Rhoden's athleticism offers a challenge for anybody trying to guard him. He averaged eight points, five rebounds and two assists as a sophomore, and is a prime breakout candidate as he steps into an expanded role.

Tyler Rieger, North Shore, G, 6-3, Sr.

Rieger, who averaged 16.3 points per game last season, is a dangerous scorer and a returning all-county selection for North Shore.

Sammy Robinson, Lawrence, F, 6-5, Sr.

Robinson averaged 20 points and 11 rebounds in conference play and is one of the most dangerous shooters on Long Island.

Travis Robinson-Morgan, Elmont, G, 5-10, Sr.

Morgan is the catalyst and floor general for the Spartans, who have won six straight conference championships. They move down to Class A from Class AA this season.

Kevin Santacroce, Mercy, F, 6-3, Sr.

Santacroce posted 18.5 points per game last year and will be the leader for Mercy.

Joseph Santoro, Island Trees, G, 5-10, Sr.

Santoro averaged 15 points, seven rebounds and seven assists last season. He is also a tenacious defender for the Bulldogs.

Hunter Schenkel, Sayville, F, 6-3, Sr.

Schenkel, who averaged 20 points and 11 rebounds per game as a junior, posted two 30-point games last season.

Prabhnoor Singh, Bayport-Blue Point, G, 6-4 Sr.

Singh, a touted shooter and scorer, will be a major offensive threat after transferring from an Indiana prep school.

Tenzie is a talented shooter with good range on a Freeport team that went 16-3 last season.

Steve Torre, Kellenberg, G, 6-2, Sr.

Capable of scoring and creating for his teammates, Torre is a handful for opposing guards. He averaged 18 points, six assists and six rebounds per game last season.

Tristan Wissemann, Shelter Island, forward, 6-4, Sr.

Wissemann finished among Suffolk County's best with 23.9 points per game last season. He scored at least 20 points in 12 of 15 games.

Malcolm Wynter, Harborfields, G, 5-10, Sr.

The floor general averaged 14 points and five assists and had eight games of at least 10 assists in Harborfields' run to the county final last season.
