Terrance Brown, Uniondale, basketball: Grabbed a career-high 17 rebounds and scored 11 points to lead the Knights past Freeport, 76-63, in the Nassau AA quarterfinals.

Anthony White, Floyd, basketball: He scored 25 points with 14 rebounds and six assists in the Colonials' 61-52 victory over Deer Park in the Suffolk AA semifinals.

Dalique Mingo, Farmingdale, basketball: He scored 24 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the Dalers to a 64-55 victory over Hicksville in the Nassau AA quarterfinals.

Valerie Oyakhilome, Lindenhurst, basketball: The junior scored a career-high 36 points, including six three-pointers, and had 10 rebounds to lead Lindenhurst over Northport 71-51 in a Class AA quarterfinal.

Brooke Gerstman, Lynbrook, basketball: She scored eight straight points to put Lynbrook ahead 54-46 with two minutes to play in a 57-50 win over Wantagh in the Nassau Class A quarterfinals.

Allison McKenna, Glenn, basketball: She had 27 points and 16 rebounds as No. 1 Glenn beat No. 4 SWR 65-25 in a Suffolk Class A semifinal.

Amanda Johansen, North Shore, basketball: The senior became North Shore's all-time leading scorer with 1,064 points. She had 27 points, 13 rebounds, and seven assists in an 83-49 win over Island Trees in a Nassau Class A quarterfinal.

Jayda Hyatt, Uniondale, basketball: The senior had a career-high 20 points and added 12 rebounds to lift No. 4 Uniondale over No. 5 Mepham, 58-48, in a Nassau Class AA quarterfinal.

Christina Mangels, Garden City, basketball: The senior had 14 points and a career-high 31 rebounds in a 55-37 win over Bethpage in a Nassau Class A quarterfinal.

Yuni Sher, Long Island Lutheran, basketball: The senior had career highs of 22 points and 21 rebounds in a 66-59 win over Mary Louis.

Thomas Awad, Chaminade, track: He set a meet record in the 1,600 at the CHSAA Intersectionals, winning in 4:15.55. He also won the 3,200 in 9:30.36.

Emma Cleary, St. John the Baptist, track: She set a CHSAA indoor record in the pole vault with an 11-3 in the Intersectionals at St. Anthony's.
