Westbury, Hills West ready for state semifinals

Northern exposure? For Westbury it's been a while. For Half Hollow Hills West, it's never happened before. Class A Westbury, which faces Newark at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, is playing in the boys state basketball final four for the first time since 1996. The Green Dragons won the state title in 1985 as a Class B entry. For Class AA Hills West, which faces Rochester East at 2:15 p.m. Saturday, it's the school's first visit to Glens Falls. The Colts are ranked No. 1 in the state by the New York State Sportswriters Association and No. 18 in the country by USA Today.
