Woodhouse named 1st team All-State
Add one more accomplishment to the impressive high school resume compiled by Lucas Woodhouse of Harborfields. The Longwood (Va.) University-bound point guard was Long Island’s only first-team selection on the New York State Sports Writers Association All-State basketball teams.
Woodhouse, a two-time Newsday All-Long Island choice, averaged 16 points and 13 assists in leading the Tornadoes to the state Class A championship, the first state title in school history.
