Lindau, Pellegrino lead Baldwin boys soccer
Kyle Lindau scored off a rebound of a Tana Weekes shot five minutes into the first half for Baldwin in a 1-0 win at East Meadow Tuesday in Nassau Conference AA-II boys soccer.
Vincent Pellegrino made five saves for his fourth shutout in a row for Baldwin (5-2-1). Hector Guerrero made 11 saves for East Meadow (6-2).East Hampton 1, Bayport-Blue Point 0: Mario Olaya scored on a direct kick from 20 yards with 8:27 left in the first half for East Hampton (7-0-1) in Suffolk League VI. Brandon West made four saves in his ninth shutout of the year. Mike Falkenburgh made 10 saves for Bayport-Blue Point (2-6).
Glenn 3, Shoreham-Wading River 1: James Depace scored on an assist from Giovanni Paredes with three seconds left in the first half to give Glenn (7-1) a 2-1 lead. Dela Agbotse and Kyle Madden added goals and Paredes finished with two assists. Lindenhurst 2, Bay Shore 1: Gina Guardino scored the go-ahead goal off a rebound with 13 minutes remaining in the game for Lindenhurst (3-4-1) in League II. Ashley Gregg gave Lindy a 1-0 lead, and Marissa Brightman tied the score at 1 for Bay Shore (3-6).
