Sam Kanner scored with 56 seconds left to lift Commack to a 2-1 victory over Sachem East in Suffolk League I boys soccer Tuesday. Phil Giordano scored and Joe Brandofino made four saves for Commack (4-1-1), which trailed 1-0 at the half. East Islip 3, Centereach 1: Zack Acocella scored the first two varsity goals of his career for East Islip (3-2-1) in League III. Frank Noviello made four saves in the win. Half Hollow Hills West 5, Bellport 1: Gabriel Agbim, Moosah Khanat, Josh Koval and Richie Mastrangelo each had a goal and an assist to lead Half Hollow Hills West (8-0) in League IV. Carle Place 2, Port Washington 1: Freshman Elissa Frein scored the game-winning goal with 58 seconds left in the second overtime for Carle Place (6-1) in Nassau League II. Lydia Rice made 24 saves in the win.

Smithtown East 8, Commack 1:Josh Leddy shot 4-under 32 on the front nine of Smithtown Landing to lead Smithtown East (5-1) in Suffolk League IV.
