Darrell Felder rushed for 112 yards on 11 carries and scored two touchdowns for Whitman in a 28-13 win over Hauppauge yesterday in Suffolk II. Xavier Livingston rushed for 131 yards on 13 carries with a TD and Mitchell Bermudez had 16 carries for 89 yards and a TD. Bermudez scored on a 3-yard run with five minutes left in the third quarter to give Whitman (4-3) a 21-13 lead after Bertin Lindor tackled the punter after a high snap at the 3-yard line. Felder capped the scoring with a 4-yard TD in the fourth quarter. Michael Clarke had five tackles. Hauppauge is 2-5.

Smithtown East 27, Centereach 20: Jake Koppelman had 20 carries for 196 yards and two TDs to lead Smithtown East (2-5). Billy Noke scored on a 13-yard run and had a 39-yard interception return for a TD in the fourth quarter to give Smithtown East a 27-6 lead. Connor Winship had eight tackles and one sack, Eric Binder had seven tackles and a fumble recovery and Alex Joly had seven tackles and an interception. Centereach is 2-5.

Riverhead 52, Copiague 6: Ryan Bitzer went 9 of 13 for 175 yards and three TDs for Riverhead (6-1). Quinn Funn had three catches for 105 yards and three TDs and Charles Bartlet had 12 carries for 125 yards with a TD. Jeremiah Cheatom had 60 yards on seven carries and two TDs. Shawn Yarborough had eight tackles and Cheatom had seven tackles. Copiague is 0-7.

Deer Park 46, Half Hollow Hills East 18: Vinny Vitale had 154 yards on 17 carries, including an 11-yard TD run, and added a 92-yard interception return for a touchdown to give Deer Park (5-2) a 20-6 lead over Half Hollow Hills East (3-4) with 20 seconds left in the first half. Austin Sweeting had five carries for 58 yards, including touchdown runs of 23 and 14 yards. Aaron Thompson had two sacks and five tackles and Thomas Reede had a sack and three tackles.
