D-IV: Forsberg leads Glenn in rout of BBP

Tommy Forsberg had 111 yards and one touchdown on 10 carries and returned an interception 40 yards for a score in Glenn's 51-13 win over Bayport-Blue Point in Suffolk IV yesterday.

Rich Czeczotka completed 7 of 8 passes for 99 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a TD for Glenn (6-1). Kevin Molloy had seven tackles, Anton Swain had five tackles and a safety, Mike Diasu six tackles and Jon Mannix added five stops. BBP is 1-6.

Amityville 49, Greenport/Southold 13: Sean Walters completed 8 of 11 passes for 146 yards and three touchdowns, including a 35-yard strike to Eli Kelly in the first quarter for Amityville (6-1). Walters had 115 yards and a touchdown on five carries and Kelly added an 80-yard interception to cap the scoring. Willie White finished with 114 yards rushing and receiving with a touchdown and Da'rell Hatcher had a 66-yard TD run to give Amityville a 20-13 lead. Greenport is 1-6.

Port Jefferson 47, Wyandanch 6: Dylan Ernst had 186 yards and three touchdowns on 12 carries and added a 40-yard touchdown reception to lead Port Jefferson (5-2). Phil Lanieri opened scoring with a 50-yard touchdown pass from Dan Serignese.

Center Moriches 46, Southampton 0: Senior Jeff Foster had nine carries for a career-high 167 yards and two TDs for Center Moriches (5-2) on Friday night. Charlie Prott had 90 yards and a TD on 10 carries, Chris Niemynski had a 41-yard fumble return TD and Pat Teich had five carries for 29 yards and a TD for Center Moriches. Tyrell Thomas was 4-for-9 for 82 yards and two TDs, both to Tyler Simpson, and Baron Gallo had two sacks. Southampton is 0-7.
