Darrell Felder rushed for 70 yards and scored three touchdowns on eight carries for Whitman in a 27-21 win over Half Hollow Hills East Saturday in a Suffolk II game.

Felder's third score, a 1-yard run followed by a two-point conversion in the second quarter, gave Whitman (3-3) a 20-14 lead.

Berthin Lindor returned an interception 45 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter and gave the Wildcats a 27-14 lead. Timmy Laster added an interception and Mitchell Bermudez had 132 yards on 12 carries. Hills East is 3-3.

Half Hollow Hills West 31, Hauppauge 14: Devante McFarlane had 239 yards and three touchdowns on 17 carries to lead Hills West (3-3). Deven Williams had 10 receptions for 119 yards and a touchdown and Jake Klose threw for 203 yards and a touchdown. Randy Davis led Hills West with 11 tackles. Hauppauge is 2-4.

East Islip 21, Newfield 14: Joe Modica scored on a 30-yard run with 40 seconds left in the third quarter to give East Islip (4-2) a 21-14 lead in Suffolk II. Modica finished with 59 yards and four carries and quarterback Pete Hanabergh completed 13 of 18 passes for 148 yards. Robert Sconone led East Islip with 11 tackles. Newfield is 3-3.

Smithtown East 49, Copiague 26: Jake Koppelman had 162 yards rushing and four touchdowns on 18 carries for Smithtown East (1-5). Josh Castro threw for 160 yards and a touchdown and also ran for 45 yards and a touchdown for the Bulls. Smithtown East had a total of 481 yards of offense. Dennis Lestrange had nine tackles and Alex Joly added eight stops for the Bulls. Copiague is 0-6.
