Flynn leads Hampton Bays in rout of Port Jefferson
Dylan Flynn ran for 74 yards and three touchdowns and had three catches for 86 yards and another score to lead Hampton Bays over Port Jefferson, 33-6, in Division IV football Saturday.
Flynn also had seven tackles, an interception and a sack. Robbie King was 7-for-10 with 133 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 67 yards and a touchdown for the Baymen (3-2). Sean Murphy made eight tackles to lead the defense, which blanked Port Jefferson in three quarters.
Babylon 49, Wyandanch 0:Sam Zamet attempted just two passes and connected on both for 115 yards and two TDs for Babylon (3-2). Dan McHugh ran for 64 yards and a touchdown and Frank Mankiewicz and Rod Holder each added touchdowns. Andrew Hurst had a 70-yard touchdown catch and was 5-for-5 on point-after kicks. The Panthers' defense had five sacks in the shutout. Tashawn Donaldson went 5-for-9 with 34 yards for Wyandanch.Bayport-Blue Point 42, Southampton 6: Ryan McCoy ran for 160 yards and four touchdowns to lead Bayport-Blue Point (4-1) in Division IV on Friday night.
Glenn 54, Stony Brook 14: Ryan Rielly threw for 115 yards and three TDs and ran for 90 yards for Glenn (5-0). Joe Rizzuto rushed for 140 yards and two TDs. Bryan Shankman had 10 tackles and two sacks.
Mount Sinai 46, Mercy 0:Peter Natale ran for 108 yards and a touchdown for Mount Sinai (4-1). Zach Wolfe added 58 yards and a score and Josh Morales had 50 yards and a TD. T.J. Burns had six tackles and Joe Wittpenn had three tackles and three pass breakups.
Greenport 39, Center Moriches 8: Mike Mangiamele completed 5 of 11 passes for 79 yards and two touchdowns and rushed six times for 83 yards for Greenport (3-2) in Division IV on Friday night.
Ryan Malone rushed 17 times for 150 yards and a touchdown and Tremaine Hansen caught three passes for 55 yards and two touchdowns.
Tom Filipkowski had 10 tackles and returned a fumble for a touchdown.
