Jordan Steinroeder scored on a penalty kick with 14 seconds left in the second half to lift Eastport-South Manor to a 2-1 win over Patchogue-Medford in its non-league season opener Saturday.

Rebecca Tooker scored in the 55th minute to tie the score at 1 for Eastport-South Manor. Jordan Brown gave Patchogue-Medford a 1-0 lead in the 50th minute.

Half Hollow Hills East 4, West Babylon 3: Christina Bellero had three goals as Half Hollow Hills East overcame a 2-1 halftime deficit. Michelle Carfagno scored and Meri Koval had an assist for Hills East. North Babylon 1, Bellport 0: Erin Brembs scored the winner off an assist from Dana Scheriff in the 38th minute for North Babylon. Angela DiFazio made two saves. Megan Schaeffer made nine saves for Bellport.Harborfields 3, Bayport-Blue Point 1: Caroline Wallace, Lauren Johnson and Lauren McMahon each scored for Harborfields. Dan Franchi added two assists and Kevin O'Brien had an assist in the win.

East Meadow 4, Clarke 2: Ryan Lao had two goals and two assists for East Meadow. Billy Walsh added a goal and two assists and Rui Cuhna made 10 saves in the win. Jose Hernandez had a goal and an assist for Clarke.Hauppauge 3, Connetquot 1: Cory Remondino scored twice to lead Hauppauge. Nick Roros added a goal, Nick Scozzari had two assists and Vincenzo Zuccala added an assist in the win. Joe Neunzig scored for Connetquot.

East Hampton 2, Southampton 0: Donte Donegal scored with 13 minutes left in the first half off a header from George Naula to give East Hampton a 1-0 lead. Jonathan Chunchi added a goal and Nick West had an assist in the win. Patchogue-Medford 5, Bellport 3: J.T. Fucci scored eight minutes into the second half to give Patchogue-Medford a 3-2 lead in its non-league opener. Steven Escobar, Dominick Dabrowski, David DiNapoli and Spencer Greenberg each scored in the win. Mt. Sinai 1, Eastport-South Manor 0: Dave Fernandez scored in the 73rd minute to win it for Mt. Sinai.

Chaminade 3, Regis 1: Nick Negulic had two goals and an assist, and Andrew Dorittie made four saves to lead Chaminade.

FIELD HOCKEYLindenhurst 3, Comsewogue 1: Yazmin Altintas, Brittany Anderson and Kayla Rhodes each scored for Lindenhurst in its season opener.

Miller Place 4, East Islip 1: Maggie Revera, Ally Hutzler and Alyssa Parrella each had a goal and an assist to guide Miller Place. Allie Krumholz added a goal in the win.

Riverhead 1, Shoreham-Wading River 0: Katelyn Zaneski scored off a pass from Maria Dillingham with 5:25 left in overtime for Riverhead.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALLSt. Anthony's wins tourney. Samantha Zebuth had 10 kills and seven blocks as St. Anthony's topped Wantagh, 25-13, 25-20, in the final of the Wantagh Invitational. Kerri Puckhaber had 12 digs Julia Forster added seven kills for the Friars. Zebuth finished with seven kills and three blocks in St. Anthony's 27-25, 25-19 win over Baldwin in the semifinal. Bridget Hartill added 19 assists in the win.
