Tracy Kennedy's 80-yard kickoff return touchdown gave Hampton Bays a 25-6 lead in the second quarter. Cody Nolan had 11 tackles, a sack and an interception for the Baymen (3-3). Centereach 1, Smithtown West 0:Amanda Barrett scored on a breakaway 10 minutes into the second half for Centereach (5-5) in Suffolk Division I.Sachem East 4, Ward Melville 0:Kayla McKeveny had a goal and an assist to lead Sachem East (9-0) in Division I. Ward Melville is 8-2.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Bethpage 3, Great Neck North 1:Alex Charles had 22 kills and Greg Gerber had six blocks to lead Bethpage (4-5) in Nassau Conference IV.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Copiague 3, West Babylon 2:Nicole Vogt had 20 kills and five aces, Desiree Curcio had 42 digs, and Alison Nahrevar added 41 assists and five aces for Copiague (2-7) in a 21-25, 20-25, 25-11, 27-25, 25-14 Suffolk League VI win.

Uniondale 3, Plainview JFK 2:Breanna Irizarri had 31 assists, Jayda Hyatt had 17 kills and Artiana Wynder added 15 kills for Uniondale (7-1) in a 16-25, 25-22, 25-17, 18-25, 25-23 Nassau Conference AA-II win.

GYMNASTICS

Harborfields 148.075, Whitman 145.775:Lian Giusto took first on floor (8.975), beam (8.5) and vault (8.2) to lead Harborfields (1-2) in League II.

GIRLS SWIMMING

Wantagh 56, Farmingdale 46:Freshman Victoria Zozzaro set a school diving record with 239.55 points, according to coach Chris Rafferty. Wantagh is 7-0 in Conference II.

Smithtown 99, Hauppauge 84:Sophomore Deirdre Connor won the 100-yard freestyle in a school-record 54.44, according to coach Terrence Martin. Jackie Doninger won the 100 butterfly (1:00.00) as Smithtown improved to 3-2. Both qualified for the state tournament.
