Freeport 22, Syosset 21: Martese Davenport rushed for a 1-yard touchdown and Nazair Jean-Lubin found Javon Edwards on the ensuing two-point conversion for the game’s final points with 9:23 left in the fourth quarter as Freeport defeated Syosset, 22-21, in Nassau Conference I football.

D’Angelo Gordon rushed for 130 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries and completed 6 of 11 passes for 120 yards.

He found his brother, Jayden, for a 38-yard touchdown pass and D’Angelo Gordon rushed in the ensuing two-point conversion to tie the score at 14 with 5:30 left in the third quarter.

Jayden Gordon had four receptions for 111 yards. Michael Ricciuto had an 8-yard touchdown run to give Syosset a 21-14 lead with 11:50 left in the fourth quarter, about two minutes before Freeport’s winning score.

Davenport rushed for 99 yards on 15 carries and Jason Pennix had two sacks.

Massapequa 28, Port Washington 7: Paul Dulanto was 8-for-14 passing for 136 yards and three touchdowns for Massapequa (5-1).

Tyler Villalta had 70 all-purpose and two receiving touchdowns, including an 11-yard pass that broke a 7-7 tie in the second quarter.

Mike Deluca had 11 carries for 60 yards and a touchdown. Shane Horan caught a 9-yard touchdown pass from Dulanto for Massapequa’s final score.

Oceanside 35, Hicksville 0: Shane Harmon completed 8 of 11 passes for 129 yards and two touchdowns and also ran for a 2-yard score to lead Oceanside (3-3).

Jake Perenchief caught a 37-yard touchdown in the first quarter to put Oceanside ahead 14-0 and Logan Lyson caught a 54-yard score in the second to make it 21-0.

Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK 24, Westbury 8: Cody Whalen caught six passes for 148 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 106 yards and a touchdown on nine carries to lead Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK (1-5).

Jack Person completed 9 of 11 passes for 231 yards and two touchdowns.

Baldwin 34, East Meadow 0: Cedric Jean-Pierre had six carries for 38 yards and a touchdown, returned an interception 98 yards for a score and added a 57-yard punt return touchdown for Baldwin (5-1).

Anthony Byron rushed for 104 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries. Vaughdrea Johnson added a 5-yard rushing touchdown and a two-point conversion.

Rodney Mills had led Baldwin’s defense with five tackles, including two for a loss.

Valley Stream Central 21, Uniondale 8: Jayden Fox ran an 18-yard touchdown in the first quarter to give Valley Stream Central a 7-0 lead in the first quarter.

Joshua Rogers added a 1-yard touchdown run and Isaiah Arthur had a 55-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown. Jordan Jean-Joseph had an interception with 1:30 left in the fourth quarter to preserve the win.
