The 3 Stars for Wednesday 2/29:
Alexandra Cantwell (above) scored 13 points and had three steals in the final 1:30 to seal a 61-54 win for No. 1 North Shore over No. 5 Floral Park in the Nassau Class A semifinals.
Amanda Johansen had 19 points including 11 during a 19-2 run from late in the third into early in the fourth quarter of North Shore’s win.
Christina Mangels had eight points and 18 rebounds as No. 2 Garden City defeated No. 3 Lynbrook 41-36 in the Nassau Class A semifinals.
