Top 10 Public Schools:
1. Baldwin (17-1) Alex Hampton had 21 points and Amber Harrison and Ayanna Hudson each had 10 points as the Bruins defeated Farmingdale 56-42 in the quarterfinals. Baldwin faces No. 4 Uniondale in the semifinals at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Oyster Bay.
2. North Shore (18-1) Amanda Johansen (above) became North Shore’s all-time leading scorer with 1,064 points during a 27-point, 13-rebound performance against No. 8 Island Trees in the quarterfinals. The top-seeded Vikings are peaking at the right time and face former Conference III foe No. 5 Floral Park in the semifinals at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Freeport.
3. Massapequa (16-2) the Chiefs avenged their only league loss to Freeport, defeating the Red Devils 53-36. Morgan Roessler had 17 points for Massapequa, which faces No. 3 MacArthur in the semifinals at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Oyster Bay.
4. Lynbrook (15-4) Brooke Gerstman showed why she is the likely Nassau Player of the Year in the public schools as she tied a career high with 33 points, including eight straight when the game was tied at 46, against No. 6 Wantagh. The Owls face No. 2 Garden City in the semifinals at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Freeport.
5. Uniondale (13-5) Aliyah McDonald had 23 points and Jayda Hyatt had a career-high 20 points as the Knights defeated No. 5 Mepham 58-48 in the quarterfinals. Uniondale faces top-seeded Baldwin in the semifinals at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Oyster Bay.
6. MacArthur (15-2) Amanda Gross and Vanessa Wyckoff each had 13 points as the Generals defeated No. 6 Herricks in the quarterfinals. MacArthur faces No. 2 Massapequa in the semifinals at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Oyster Bay.
7. Garden City (17-2) Christina Mangels and Katie Trimmer each had 14 points and Mangels added a career-high 31 rebounds as the Trojans defeated No. 7 Bethpage 55-37 in the quarterfinals. Garden City faces No. 3 Lynbrook in the semifinals at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Freeport.
8. Floral Park (16-3) Kaela Hilaire had 16 points and 10 assists as the Knights defeated No. 4 Sewanhaka 46-42 on the road in the quarterfinals. Floral Park faces top-seeded North Shore in the semifinals at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Freeport.
9. Cold Spring Harbor (17-2) the Seahawks repeated as Class B champions. Kelly Vassallo had 12 points and Katie Durand and Kelly Gubitosi each had 11 points in a 45-31 win over No. 3 Locust Valley in the finals.
10. Freeport (11-7) Monique Jones had 17 points as the Red Devils were eliminated by Massapequa in the quarterfinals.
