Jocelyn Penteck's only point of the game, a free throw with 2.3 seconds left, gave Floral Park a 38-37 win over Lynbrook on Friday in a Nassau Conference A-III girls basketball game.

Penteck was fouled while attempting a putback off a missed free throw. Kaela Hilaire had 13 points, six steals and six assists and hit a layup with 30 seconds left to tie the score at 37 for Floral Park (3-0 Conference A-III). Lorraine Hickman had seven points and 10 rebounds in the win. Brooke Gerstman led Lynbrook with 17 points.

Freeport 55, Oceanside 46: Monique Jones had 20 points and 11 steals and Deasia Goodson nine points, nine rebounds and 10 blocks for Freeport (3-1) in Conference AA-I.Baldwin 52, MacArthur 42: Alex Hampton had 21 points, seven rebounds and four steals to lead Baldwin (4-0) in Conference AA-II. Leondre Simmon had 13 points and seven assists and Isaiah Barnes added nine rebounds.
