Sydney Zambrotta loses 48 points

Upper Room point guard Sydney Zambrotta had her 48-point game in a 52-49 win over Waldorf on Jan. 20th taken away. A shot clock was not used in the game and it will not count.
The game will be replayed, according to acting IPPSAL girls basketball commissioner Walter Amadio. Zambrotta, an eighth grader, made headlines for breaking the Long Island girls basketball record for points in a single game with 63 on Tuesday night. She is averaging 43.5 points in seven games.
