Suffolk girls soccer awards
Here's a list of some awards that were handed out at Monday night's Suffolk girls soccer end of season banquet dinner:
Large School Player of the Year
Cari Roccaro, East Islip – Second straight season as Player of the Year.
Small School Player of the Year
Kim Marra, Sayville – Best player on the regular season’s best team.
Large School Goalkeeper of the Year
Ally Ramos, Ward Melville – Recorded 13 shutouts, none more impressive than the 1-0 win over Northport in the county championship game.
Small School Goalkeeper of the Year
Kelsey Glanzman, Center Moriches – Had 15 shutouts and allowed just one goal all season.
Large School Coach of the Year
John Diehl, Ward Melville – Guided the Patriots to their first county championship.
Small School Coach of the Year
Lea Brady, Center Moriches – Helped the Red Devils to a third straight county title.
Championship Players of the Game
Class AA -- Ally Ramos, Ward Melville
Class A -- Lauren Sparks, Islip
Class B -- Kelsey Glanzman, Center Moriches
Class C -- Mikaela Stikickas, Stony Brook
