The top 10 girls soccer teams in Suffolk based on games played through October 13:

1. St. Anthony's (10-0-1)
It’s time the Friars domination is rewarded with the top spot in the weekly rankings. Keepers Jensen Wiedmer and Danielle Maurice, who (with the help of an Ariana Aston- led defense) are yet to allow more than one goal in a game this season, have combined for five consecutive shutouts. St. Anthony’s has outscored opponents 18-0 during that stretch, capped by a 2-0 win over Holy Trinity behind goals by Marissa Christy and Ashley Small.

2. West Islip (9-1-2)
The defending Class AA girls soccer champions struggled to find the back of the net in a scoreless tie with Half Hollow Hills East and a 1-1 tie with Centereach. But three goals by Jennifer Martinez helped the Lions break out with a key 3-1 win over current League III leader Smithtown East.

3. Sachem East (9-2)
After dropping a key League I game to Commack, 3-2, Sachem East rebounded with a 3-0 win over Longwood thanks in part to Victoria Hassett and Kata McCabe, who each scored their first varsity goals, and a 4-0 win over Patchogue-Medford, led by Kristin Butzke and Kiersten Lewis who each had a goal and an assist.

4. Northport (7-1-1)
Although Northport trails Connetquot in the standings, they remain ahead in the power rankings thanks to their recent head-to-head victory. The Tigers followed with a 1-0 win over Sachem North in which Rosie Hayes scored the game-winner off an assist from Ashley Hurley with 14 minutes remaining to extend their winning streak to six games.

5. Half Hollow Hills West (10-0)
The Colts won both of their games this week, further prolonging their perfect season. Marissa Rosen had the winner in a 2-1 win over Bellport and Lauren Casadonte scored the lone goal in a 1-0 win over West Babylon as the Colts remained the only unbeaten team in Suffolk Class AA.

6. Connetquot (10-2)
While Kelly Geheran scored both game-winners, Natasha Purchla preserved the shutouts in a pair of 1-0 wins over Lindenhurst and Sachem North. Deanna Murino scored two goals in a 7-1 win over Central Islip as Thunderbirds remained ahead of Northport in League II.

7. Smithtown East (9-3)
Still atop League III despite a 3-0 loss to league rival West Islip in their only game this week. The league is Smithtown East's to lose.

8. Deer Park (7-2)
Nicole Gomez’s couldn’t have picked a better time to score her first varsity goal. Her game winner in overtime lifted Deer Park over second-place Kings Park and all but clinched the League V title for the Falcons, who are unbeaten in league play.

9. Sayville (10-1)
The class of Class A can no longer be ignored in the rankings. The Golden Flashes are on a ten-game winning streak and haven’t lost since their season opening loss to Connetquot. Kim Marra scored three first half goals and Dariann Sellitti had a goal and two assists in a 5-0 win over Miller Place, which was the sixth time this season that Sayville has won by at least five goals.

10. West Babylon (9-2-1)
Went 1-1-1 on the week after getting 12 saves out of Melissa Guglielmo in a scoreless tie with North Babylon, suffering a 1-0 loss to unbeaten Hills West, and defeating Copiague, 6-1, behind two goals by Jessica Mazur.
