Guja's goal wins it for Mattituck

Lauren Guja scored the winning goal with 1:15 left in the first overtime to lift Mattituck to a 3-2 win over Mount Sinai Tuesday in Suffolk League VI girls soccer.

Courtney Murphy and Maryanne Fitzgerald each scored a goal and Morgan McGrath made five saves for Mattituck for (4-3).

Center Moriches 3, Shoreham-Wading River 2: Casey Luongo scored her second goal of the game with 28 seconds left in the first overtime for Center Moriches (6-2) in League VI. Emily Blunnie scored with 3:22 left in regulation to tie the score at 2 for Shoreham-Wading River.Plainview JFK 3, Baldwin 2: Erica Coppola scored three goals, including the winner in the 45th minute on an assist from Madalyn Fernbach to lead Plainview JFK (5-3-1) in Nassau Conference AA-II. Alana Cohen had six saves, including one on a breakaway in the second half for Plainview JFK.

Sachem North 4, Sachem East 1: Brandon Arango scored in the 36th minute to give Sachem North (4-4) a 2-0 halftime lead in Suffolk League I. Harrison Weilbacher scored twice and Brendan Chetuck had a goal in the win. Southold 1, Greenport-Shelter Island 0: Rob Melly scored on a header off a feed from Evan Miller with 2:38 left for Southold (5-1) in Suffolk League VIII. Our Savior New American 2, Lawrence Woodmere 1: Duncan Kasibante scored the winner off a pass from Kyle Skowron with 11 minutes left for OSNA (6-2-1) in IPPSAL.BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Hewlett 3, Wantagh 2: Danny Mosayov had 27 kills, 15 blocks and seven aces and Matt Llinas 22 assists as Hewlett (8-2) prevailed, 25-22, 25-20, 21-25, 22-25, 26-24, in Nassau Conference IV.

Eastport-South Manor 3, Shoreham-Wading River 1: Connor Brandow had 12 kills, Brandon Calderone 12 kills and nine digs and Thomas Jordan 44 assists for ESM (6-0) in a 25-7, 25-13, 23-25, 25-16 win in Suffolk League III. GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Syosset 3, East Meadow 2: Madelyn Sanchez had eight aces and seven kills, Ashley Richards six aces and Maddison Littman had the last two points for Syosset in a 25-23, 25-18, 20-25, 24-26, 29-27 win in Nassau Conference AA-I.Uniondale 3, Oceanside 1: Veronica Harris had 12 digs and Jayda Hyatt 13 kills for Uniondale (9-2) in a 17-25, 25-13, 25-17, 25-20 win in Conference AA-II.
