CHRIS CEPEDA
WARD MELVILLE, BASEBALL
Keyed a three-game sweep over Commack in the final series of the Suffolk League I season to give Ward Melville the League I title. He also pitched a complete game in a 6-3 win.
RYAN UDVADIA
The junior won the 3,200 at the Loucks Games in 9:02.5. The time is a school record. Udvadia also won the meet's Most Outstanding Athlete award.
HANNA GREENFIELD
The senior was a quadruple winner in Miller Place's 108-38 win over Amityville. Greenfield won the 100 in 12.8 seconds, the 100 hurdles (16.0), the triple jump (34-7), and the long jump (16-8).
MAGGIE BILL
ST. ANTHONY'S, LACROSSE
She had 16 points in three games, including five goals in the Friars' 11-9 overtime win over Manhasset. Bill also had four goals and four caused turnovers in Wednesday's win over Garden City.
NICOLE SINACORI
She had 26 points (21 goals) in three games last week, including nine goals and an assist on Wednesday against Rye Country Day.
JOSH CASTRO
The senior first baseman went 2-for-2, including a solo home run and three RBIs in a 3-1 win over West Islip. The Bulls clinched the school's third league title in four years.
MIKE DAVANZO
He improved to 6-0 by scattering six hits and striking out six in a 4-3 win over Garden City to help the Warriors finish the regular season 19-0.
TIM ROTANZ
He became the fourth player in Long Island boys lacrosse history to score 400 career points when he totaled six goals and six assists in an 18-6 victory over Rocky Point.
JIM BYRNS
One of Long Island's leading scorers, he had a career-high eight goals and added an assist in a 16-6 win over Port Washington.
PAT DOYLE
HOLY TRINITY, LACROSSE
The senior had a career-high six goals to lead Holy Trinity in a 14-6 win against St. Dominic.
GREG EGAN
ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST, BASEBALL
The senior struck out 16 and allowed five hits in a 3-2 win over St. Anthony's. He is 5-0 with 63 strikeouts in 36 innings.
