Mike Perretine, Farmingdale, boys lacrosse
He was one of three Dalers with a hat trick in a 14-10 win over Shenendehowa in a Class A state semifinal. He also scored an unassisted goal with 2:26 remaining in OT as Farmingdale ended West Islip, 10-9, and ended the Lions 40-game win streak to win the LI Class A title.
Devin Dwyer, Garden City, boys lacrosse
He scored three goals with two assists for Garden City in a 10-8 win over Yorktown (Sec. I)in the state Class B semifinals.
Mikaela Rix, Garden City, girls lacrosse
She scored three second-half goals in the Trojans 12-6 win over Brighton to win the state Class A title.
Remy Janco, Half Hollow Hills West, baseball
Duke-bound senior struck out four in two innings of scoreless relief in Suffolk’s 12-8 loss to Nassau in RTC Grand Slam Challenge.
Steve Ascher, Mattituck, baseball
He pitched a one-hit shutout, walking one and striking out 13 to give the Tuckers a 8-0 win over Oyster Bay and the LI Class C title.
Alec Sole, Sachem North, baseball
Sweet swinging senior went 3-for-3 in the RTC Grand Slam Challenge in Suffolk’s 12-8 loss to Nassau.
Isabella Corrao, Farmingdale, softball
She struck out 14 as the Dalers beat Bay Shore in the Class AA Long Island championship, 2-0.
Ashley Cole, Carle Place, softball
She threw a no-hitter in a 2-0 win over Babylon in the Class B Long Island championship and state regional.
Jake Thomas, Calhoun, baseball
Binghamton-bound catcher tripled to ignite an 8-run fifth inning in Nassau’s 12-8 win over Suffolk in RTC Grand Slam Challenge. He also had an RBi and a stolen base to grab MVP honors.
Reina Torlincasi, Kings Park, softball
She hit a three-run double in the bottom of the first as Kings Park defeated Seaford, 4-2, for the Class A Long Island title.
