Comsewogue boys soccer's Tristan Dent scores late goal in win over East Islip

Tristan Dent scored the winning goal with seven minutes left to lead Comsewogue over East Islip, 1-0, in a Suffolk II boys soccer game. Angelo Wiggins made four saves and Brian Udovich made three saves. Marcus Duncan made seven saves for East Islip.
Malverne/East Rockaway 4, Manhasset 2: Filip Beben had two goals and Jayden Mora had one goal and one assist to lead Malverne/East Rockaway in Nassau Conference AA-III. Alex Mallios made five saves for Manhasset.
Haborfields 3, Hauppauge 1: Anderson Soper, Caiden Veitch and James Vassallano each scored and Charlie Bair had two assists to lead Harborfields in a Suffolk League II game. Anthony Solerno made five saves for the Tornadoes. Ethan Kyle scored and Nico Mieles made seven saves for the Eagles.

Patchogue-Medford 2, Sachem North 1: Bora Ersoz scored the winner with 54 seconds left in regulation off an assist from Alexis Gomez to lead Patchogue-Medford in Suffolk I. Angelo Arriaza added a goal.
Freeport 3, Great Neck North 2: Kevin Leon scored two goals for Freeport and Jose Huete added another goal to lead Freeport (1-0) in a non-league game. Jesus Sorto had two assists and Nicholas Leguizamon had one assist for Freeport. Kleybersson Corado had six saves for Freeport.
GIRLS SOCCER
Floyd 1, Whitman 0: Jayla Pimentel scored off an assist from Rachel Hall and Ava Tiedemann made four saves to lead Floyd in Suffolk I. Amanda Moffett and Natali Orruego Cruz each made three saves for Whitman.
Lindenhurst 3, Patchogue-Medford 0: Maddie Jones had two goals and Joelle Trenka added one goal and one assist to lead Lindenhurst in Suffolk I. Marie Cataldo made 12 saves for Patchogue-Medford.
Eastport-South Manor 3, Mt. Sinai 0: Gia Da Cunha had one goal and two assists to lead Eastport-South Manor in non-league. Sophia Colavito and Kylie Herrera each added a goal. Charlotte Laraque made 16 saves for Mount Sinai.
Calhoun 2, Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK 0: Liana Serrano and Emily Hill each scored a goal and Abby DaSilva saved four shots for her first shutout of the season to lead Calhoun in Nassau II. Rebecca Kunz made seven saves for Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK.
Sachem East 2, Huntington 0: Sophia Carpenito made five saves and Aubrey Canale and Camryn Goodman each scored a goal to lead Sachem East in Suffolk I. Brianna Purcell made seven saves for Huntington.
East Hampton 5, Port Jefferson 0: Amy Torres had three goals and one assist to lead East Hampton in non-league. Elle Reidlinger added two goals and Shayla Buestan had two assists. Josie Amtmann made five saves for Port Jefferson.

Lawrence 3, Great Neck North 0: Lawrence won in straight sets, 25-14, 25-14, 25-17, in its Nassau II-B season opener against GNN.
GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
Islip 3, West Islip 0: Jane Tierney had 17 assists and four aces, Tali Addeo had 19 kills and three blocks and Riley Haynes had 40 assists to lead Islip in non-league.

Sachem East 3, Patchogue-Medford 1: Gabby Rice had 11 kills and six blocks and Bridget Hansen had 10 kills, 10 blocks and 22 assists to lead Sachem East to a season-opening, 18-25, 25-17, 25-20, 25-17, win in Suffolk I. Bailey Kueck had seven kills and two blocks, Avery Thurston had 12 blocks and Alyssa Alamia had 17 digs and two aces in the victory.
