1. LONGWOOD WRESTLING
Longwood confirmed its number one ranking as the Lions won the Suffolk Division I tournament for the first time since 1997. Longwood dominated the tournament with 10 all county wrestlers including champions Nicky Hall (145 pounds) and Patrick Jennings (160). Hall (fourth), Patrick Jennings (fourth), and Corey Rasheed (fifth) earned all-state honors at the intersectional tournament in Albany. Longwood has not lost a dual meet since 2008 and finished the season with a 58 dual-meet winning streak.
2. LONG ISLAND LUTHERAN BOYS BASKETBALL
It was another great season behind senior Achraf Yacoubou, who was shared the Mr. Basketball in New York crown with Mount Vernon's Jabarie Hinds. The IPPSAL champs also captured the state Class A Federation title with a convincing win over then-undefeated St. Mary's.
3. EAST ISLIP BOYS BOWLING

5. ST. MARY'S BOYS BASKETBALL

The Friars' great season came to an end in heartbreaking fashion in the state CHSAA Class AA semifinals. The Friars won their first CHSAA championship since 1988 and finished undefeated in the league.
