Vincent Lupo shot 299 in the second game of a 673 series to help lift Central Islip to a 3-0 win Wednesday over Bayport-Blue Point in a Suffolk League IV boys bowling match.

Matt DiGiamtomasso bowled a 679 series as Central Islip (8-3), prevailed 993-851, 1,083-830, 938-804.

Sewankaha District 3, Carle Place 0: Tommy Genova bowled 252 in Game 2 of a 729 series as Sewanhaka District (10-2) clinched the Nassau Conference II with an 869-849, 867-814, 858-763 win.

Sachem North 92, Brentwood 71: Steve Penteck won the 100-yard backstroke in 57.95 and the 100 freestyle in 53.75 to lead Sachem North (6-1) in League I.

BOYS FENCING

Commack 14, Huntington 13:Anthony Musto went 3-0 in epee and won the meet for Commack (8-2) with a victory in his final bout. Joe Faicco went 3-0 in foil and Danny Montera went 3-0 in sabre for Commack.
