Ryan Slane scored the winner with 3:31 left in double overtime for North Babylon in a 13-12 win over visiting Patchogue-Medford in Division I boys lacrosse Thursday. Patchogue-Medford's Tyler DeLuca scored the last of his five goals with 43 seconds left in regulation to tie the score at 12. Pat-Med trailed 12-9 going into the fourth quarter. Matt Beccaris and Matt Sonnenburg each scored four goals for North Babylon (6-3), and Slane had three goals and one assist. Alex Lopez made 12 saves. Kevin Gerard had four goals and three assists for Patchogue-Medford (3-6).

Harborfields 10, Islip 8: Connor Coyle scored on an assist from Greg FitzMaurice with 9:41 left to give Harborfields (8-3) a 9-8 lead in Division II. Coyle finished with three goals and one assist, and Sean Clark and Joey Guidarelli each scored two goals. Joe Sciara led Islip (9-2) with three goals and an assist.

Shoreham-Wading River 11, Huntington 10: Tim Rotanz scored the winner, his fourth goal of the game, with 1:24 left for Shoreham-Wading River (10-1). Peter Gersbeck added three goals and Tyler Lutjen made eight saves, including two in the final 20 seconds. Jim Roselle scored three goals for Huntington (7-4). The two teams raised more than $20,000 for the Lax Out Cancer charity, according to SWR coach Tom Rotanz.

Baldwin 16, East Meadow 12: Mike Ainbinder scored five goals for Baldwin (4-3) in Conference I. Tyler Harper added four goals and one assist, and Patrick Dillon had two goals and three assists. Bobby Bender led East Meadow (4-4) with four goals and one assist.

Wheatley/Carle Place 13, Clarke 12: Greg Giordano scored the winner with 3:00 left for Wheatley/Carle Place (7-5) in non-league. Dylan Sherman added three goals and one assist and Brian Engbarth had a goal and six assists. Mike Martiello tied the score at 12 for Clarke (5-5) with 5:00 to play. Greg Carlin and Anthony Gomes led Clarke with five goals and two assists.

GIRLS LACROSSE

Half Hollow Hills 9, Lindenhurst 5: Jackie DiMaria, who finished with five goals and one assist, scored on an assist from her sister Julia with 5:00 left to give Half Hollow Hills (8-3) an 8-5 lead in Division I. Ariel O'Shea added two goals and two assists. Jessica Wharry led Lindenhurst (5-6) with two goals and two assists.

Long Beach 15, East Meadow 6: Jillian Piazza scored five goals with two assists for Long Beach (6-0) in Conference A-II. Emily McLoughlin added three goals and one assist. Jessica Widmann led East Meadow (4-1) with three goals and one assist.

Locust Valley 17, Floral Park 16: Amanda Cirignano scored the winner on an assist from Taylor Bleistein with 2:07 left in the first overtime for Locust Valley (5-3) in Conference C. Lauren Simicich scored with 3:14 left in regulation for Floral Park (4-4), tying the score at 16. Julie Palermo led Locust Valley with five goals and two assists, and Soraya Sanjana made 22 saves. Julie Schmidt led Floral Park with eight goals and an assist.

North Shore 12, Mineola 9: Lauren Janelli and Amanda Johansen each scored four goals for North Shore (8-0). Tess Korten added two goals and one assist, and Jennie Berglin made 12 saves. Kerri Medlock led Mineola (5-4) with five goals.

BOYS GOLF

Friends Academy 8.5, North Shore .5: Peter Scialabba shot even-par 35 on the front nine at Nassau Country Club for Friends Academy (6-1) in Conference II.
