The junior threw a perfect game, striking out all 21 hitters in his first varsity start in a 15-0 win over Hempstead.
EMILY MUELLER, Jericho lacrosse
She had eight goals and two assists against LI Lutheran, including the tying goal with 30 seconds left in the first overtime, and the winner in double OT.
ALEXA SMITH, Westhampton lacrosse
She totaled 17 points last week and scored eight goals in an upset of Shoreham-Wading River.
LAUREN GLANCY, Northport track
She won the triple jump, going 35 feet, one half inch and the long jump, in 27 feet in a 104-36 win over Middle Country.
CJ EWULU, East Meadow track
He tossed the shot put a school record 49 feet, 3 ½ inches in a 111-60 win over Freeport.
DENNIS LICALZI, South Side lacrosse
The goalie made 15 saves in a 6-5 victory over perennial powerhouse Manhasset. It was the program's first-ever win against Manhasset.
MICHAEL CALVAGNA, Sachem North lacrosse
The midfielder won 13 of 16 faceoffs in a 7-5 win over Sachem East. He won 14 of 15 faceoffs in a 12-2 win over Bay Shore.
JAKE STEIN, Bay Shore baseball
He fired a one-hitter with 10 strikeouts in a 1-0 win over Smithtown East. He allowed a leadoff single then retired the next 21 batters.
NICK GRANDE, Smithtown West baseball
He had two game-winning RBIs last week: a two-out double in the fifth in a 1-0 win over Centereach and a seventh-inning triple in a 1-0 win over Centereach.
TYLER OSIK, Shoreham-Wading River baseball
The senior had two homers with five RBIs vs. Amityville and hit a solo homer in a 3-1 win over Sayville.
CHRIS LAMBROU, Holy Trinity golf
The senior shot a three-under 33 at Eisenhower Blue in a season-opening win over St. John the Baptist.
DENNIS BUCKSTEIN, Sachem North baseball
Tossed 12 consecutive no-hit innings and picked up wins over Whitman and Hills East. He has 21 strikeouts.
