Sean Lohan had 27 kills and Steven Watt 25 digs as No. 4 Jericho edged fifth-seeded West Hempstead, 3-2, in a Nassau Class B boys volleyball quarterfinal Saturday.

Eric Ren had 26 assists for Jericho (8-5) in its 27-29, 25-18, 25-21, 22-25, 25-16 win. Jericho will take on No. 1 Floral Park in the semifinals Monday at 6:30 p.m. at SUNY-Old Westbury.

Floral Park 3, Valley Stream South 0: Will Wichart had 13 assists, nine kills and three aces as No. 1 Floral Park (12-1) prevailed, 25-11, 25-20, 25-12, in a Nassau Class B quarterfinal. Floral Park had 11 service aces.

Long Beach 3, Syosset 1: Bret O'Neill had 10 kills, 10 digs and three aces, Adam Lazare had 10 kills and five blocks and Andrew Still 35 assists for No. 4 Long Beach (13-4) in a 25-11, 25-12, 23-25, 25-14 win in a Nassau Class A quarterfinal. Long Beach will play No. 1 Massapequa in a semifinal Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Hofstra.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Lindenhurst 3, Newfield 0: Ajsha Mekulovic had three aces, 10 digs and five kills, Emily Clemens seven digs, 15 kills and 20 assists and Kayla Morgan five aces and 18 digs to lead No. 2 Lindenhurst to a 25-11, 25-12, 25-13 win in a Suffolk Class AA quarterfinal. Lindenhurst hosts No. 3 Ward Melville in a semifinal Tuesday at 5 p.m.

Ward Melville 3, Smithtown West 0: Emily Astarita had 16 kills, Jayne Imperato had 11 kills and four aces, and Lauren O'Hern 27 assists and three aces for third-seeded Ward Melville (14-2) in a 25-16, 25-9, 25-11 victory in a Suffolk Class AA quarterfinal.

Smithtown East 3, Patchogue-Medford 0: Delia Phillips had 21 kills and Maggie Engellenner six aces and 17 digs for No. 1 Smithtown East (15-2) in its 25-21, 25-12, 25-10 Suffolk Class AA quarterfinal win. Smithtown East will host No. 4 West Islip in a semifinal Tuesday.

Glenn 3, Hampton Bays 0: Melissa Rigo had 13 kills and Jackie Malusa had 11 kills for top-seeded Glenn (20-2) in a 25-3, 25-9, 25-10 Suffolk Class B semifinal. Glenn will take on No. 2 Mount Sinai in the final Tuesday at 8 p.m. at St. Joseph's College.
