Sachem North, Senior, Outside Hitter
Missry’s powerful hitting was a huge factor in Sachem North’s undefeated, Class A title-winning season. He recorded 305 kills and posted a hitting average of .524 (.300 is roughly average for a middle hitter). He also had 63 aces, 85 digs and 33 blocks.
Missry seemed to get better as the postseason went on, recording 21 kills in the Suffolk county final, 24 kills in the Long Island championship and 35 kills in the state championship match.

TYLER BRANDOW
Eastport-South Manor, Senior, Outside Hitter
Brandow was the driving force behind the Sharks’ run to the state championship game. He had 21 kills and 17 digs in the Suffolk county championship and 23 kills in the Long Island championship.

ALLEN DURUTOVIC
PLainview JFK, Senior, Middle Hitter
Durutovic led Plainview JFK to the Nassau county championship, recording 221 kills and 38 blocks this season. He was also named MVP of the county playoffs, recording nine kills in the county final match.

CHRISTIAN GARCIA
Floral Park, Senior, Setter
Garcia was one of Long Island’s top passers this year, recording 404 assists, and also showed all-around with 149 kills and 44 blocks.

MARK JENSEN
Bay Shore, Senior, Outside Hitter
Jensen helped Bay Shore reach the Suffolk Class A title match with 294 kills, 34 aces and 25 blocks.

STEVEN LOPEZ
Port Washington, Senior, Outside Hitter
Lopez was one of Nassau’s most dominant hitters, recording 200 kills to lead Port Washington to the county semifinals.

NOAH NARDONE
Roslyn, Senior, Opposite Hitter
Nardone had 250 kills to lead Roslyn to its first Class A county title. He was named county playoff MVP after recording 21 kills, 14 assists and seven aces in the county final.

NICK SMITH
Massapequa, Senior, Setter
Smith led Massapequa to a first-place regular season finish, combining skilled passing with strong scoring ability.

ROB STEINBERG
Sachem North, Senior, Setter
Steinberg recorded 631 assists to finish his career with 1,603. He also had 55 kills, 30 aces, 40 blocks and 39 digs this season.

BRYAN WANG
Plainview JFK, Senior, Outside Hitter
Wang had 159 kills and 28 aces for county champion Plainview JFK. He also had a game-high 14 kills in the county title match.
