Albany-

St. Anthony's 135-pound junior Jamel Hudson got things started at Day 2 of the State Championships at the Times Union Center with a stirring rendition of the Star Spangled Banner.

The multi-talented performer (http://www.newsday.com/sports/high-school/wrestling/hudson-st-anthony-s-take-center-stage-1.2666096) lost in Saturday's quarterfinals but won  a wrestle-back bout to remain in contention for third place honors.

In his first wrestle-back of Sunday, Hudson will face Shenendehowa's Dave Almaviva.

There is little doubt that, no matter what Hudson does on the mat today, his most memorable moment came behind the microphone.
