Islip's Wade upsets No. 3 seed, adds to Suffolk domination

Kyle Wade of Islip defeated Mike Vespa of Monroe-Woodbury, the third seed at 152 pounds, in impressive fashion, pinning him in just 53 seconds.

He'll face Nassau champion Nick Fitzmaurice of Wantagh in the quarterfinals.

Section XI, the defending sectional champion, is dominating the competition thus far. Through the 171-pound weight class, where top seed Billy Coggins of Rocky Point earned a 9-2 win over Cody Miller of Spencerport, Suffolk wrestlers are 17-2.
