ALBANY — Top-seeded Joey Slackman of Commack earned a 4-2 decision over unseeded Myles Norris of Freeport in the state Division I wrestling final at 285 pounds on Saturday night at the Times Union Center.

Slackman, the state runner-up last season, pinned fifth-seeded Colton Crane of Gates Chili in 29 seconds in the semifinal.
