Sean O'Hagan won by major decision, 15-1, at 120 pounds as Sachem North clipped Longwood, 36-29, in Suffolk League I wrestling Friday night.

The win ended the Lions' 67-match winning streak. The Lions' last loss was to Brentwood in 2008.

Gio Santiago pinned Dylan Seybolt in 4:52 and James Sanzone won by decision over Nicholas Soto, 9-3, at 132 pounds for Sachem North (5-1).

Great Neck North 51, Plainview JFK 20: Kevin Bichoupan won by pin in 1:35 at 195 pounds for North in the first round of the Nassau Invitational Tournament.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Portledge 54, Holy Child 51: Tamara Simpson scored 23 of her 31 points during a 38-30 second half as Portledge (14-0) overcame a 21-16 halftime deficit in non-league. She added 11 rebounds and six steals and Ceci Mulry had six blocks and 15 rebounds.

Garden City 43, Wantagh 29: Sam Auricchio scored 14 points, including eight during a 10-0 run in the third to give Garden City (5-1) a 32-15 lead in Nassau Conference A-I. Christina Mangels had 10 points, 12 rebounds and eight steals in the win. Katie Trimmer had 14 rebounds in the win.

Valley Stream Central 59, Calhoun 47: Senior Christine Rivera had a career-high 26 points and seven rebounds for Central (5-4) in Conference AA-II.

Carey 33, Long Beach 30: Victoria Porcasi (eight points) hit two free throws late in the fourth to put Carey (4-5) ahead 33-26 in Conference AA-III.

Ward Melville 42, Brentwood 39: Caysea Cohen had 13 points, seven assists and a steal with 2.8 seconds left to help Ward Melville (5-4) hold on in League I.

Rocky Point 39, Miller Place 35: Reagan Lynch hit two free throws with 55 seconds left to give Rocky Point (2-8) a 38-35 lead in League V. Brittany Rinaldi added a free throw for the final margin. Lynch and Amy Innis each had 10 points in the win.

Center Moriches 42, Wyandanch 40: Takia Plummer had 13 points, including a jumper with 1:20 left in overtime to lift Center Moriches (4-3) in League VII. Ivana Slistein hit a layup off a feed from Plummer with 14.2 seconds left in the fourth to force overtime.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Farmingdale 57, Hempstead 46: Dalique Mingo scored eight of his 22 points during a 19-14 third quarter to give Farmingdale (6-1) a 49-37 lead in Conference AA-I. Curtis Jenkins added seven points, 14 rebounds and four blocks and Kevin Petit-Ferer had 13 points in the win.

Hicksville 42, Port Washington 38: Pablo Segura's putback with one minute left gave Hicksville (6-3) a 40-38 lead in Conference AA-II.

Long Beach 51, Carey 46: Tyquan Scott had 17 points and Daryl Brown scored nine of his 13 points in the third to lead Long Beach (7-2) in Conference AA-III. Tariq Cole had 10 points and 12 rebounds in the win.

Great Neck North 58, West Hempstead 48: Senior Allen Shirian scored a career-high 21 points (11 in the second quarter) and had seven rebounds for North (7-1) in Conference A-III. Gilad Zohar added 15 points.

North Shore 67, Clarke 64: Justin Bell scored 14 of his 30 points in the fourth to lift North Shore (4-4) in Conference A-IV.

Sachem East 41, Patchogue-Medford 36: Joe Santarpia hit a three-pointer with 17 seconds left to provide the final margin for East (3-6) in League I. D'Andre Smith and A.J. Tavantzis scored 12 points each in the win.

Harborfields 86, Eastport-South Manor 59: Lucas Woodhouse had 24 points and 16 assists to lead Harborfields (7-0) in League V. John Patron had 18 points and 13 rebounds in the win.

Mount Sinai 76, Bayport-Blue Point 60: Mike Guzzardi had 20 points and 10 rebounds and Greg Kopcienski had 14 points for Mount Sinai (7-1) in League VI.

Southampton 86, Mercy 78: Shaundell Fishburne scored eight of his 21 points in overtime to give Southampton (5-3) the lead in League VII. Devon Trent hit a layup as time expired to force OT for Southampton. Adam Fezza led with 22 points, 10 rebounds and six steals in the win.

Greenport 52, Ross 51: Austin Hooks converted a three-point play with 20 seconds left to give Greenport (6-1) a 52-49 lead in League VIII. Gavin Dibble led Greenport with 24 points and Billy Doucett added 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Plainview JFK 61, Cold Spring Harbor 41: Jacob Alexander won the 50-yard freestyle in 22.24 seconds for Plainview JFK (2-3) in Nassau Conference I.

Syosset 105, Bellmore JFK 81: Nick Woska won the 1-meter dive (225.45), Ashwin Kelkar won the 50 freestyle (23.78) and Edan Zitelny won the 100 breaststroke (1:06.47) to lift Syosset (4-4) in Conference I.

Manhasset 93, Massapequa 87: Andrew Chin won the 200-yard individual medley in 2:20.08 and the 100 butterfly in 1:01.89 to lead Manhasset (6-0) in Conference II.
