Updates from Albany as the girls kick off state championship weekend on Thursday, followed by the boys on Friday and Saturday.
Tech falls for Morrow, Brock
Bellport’s Aaliyah Morrow is moving on to the quarterfinals at 152 pounds by way of a 10-0 tech fall in 26 seconds. Watch the clip here:
MacArthur’s Taylor Brock recorded her 10-0 tech fall in 2:05 to advance to the quarterfinals at 138 pounds.
Floyd's Williams advances
Floyd’s Veronica Sky Williams pinned her opponent in 1:35 to advance to the 145-pound quarterfinals. Watch her work for the pin here.
Calhoun's Reese Adams advances
