Suffolk League Championships Tomorrow: Some (Potential) Matches to Watch

League I
106- Nick Piccininni (Ward Melville) vs. Eric Orellana (Brentwood)
126- Marc Gonzalez (Brentwood) vs. Armani Hendrickson (Patchogue-Medford), Hendrickson defeated Gonzales back on January 11, 9-5.
132- Diego Ramirez (Brentwood) vs. Eddie Gomez (Patchogue-Medford)
138- Alexis Blanco (Brentwood) vs. Malik Rasheed (Longwood), rematch of Wednesday’s match, won by Blanco.
152- Nicky Hall (Longwood) vs. Nick Lomenzo (Floyd)
160- Carlos Toribio (Brentwood) vs. Eddie Jennings (Longwood), rematch of Wednesday’s match, won by Toribio.
League II
120- Sean McCabe (Connetquot) vs. Jacob Restrepo (Sachem East), McCabe is 28-1 and going for his third consecutive League II title.
170- Zach Nobre (Sachem East) vs. Keith Meisner (Lindenhurst)
220- Kenny Drew (Connetquot) vs. Shakore Phillip (Bay Shore), Drew is 27-0 defeated Phillip via 3-0 decision on January 18.
League III
285- The trio of Smithtown West’s Michael Hughes, Newfield’s Karl Rindfleisch and East Islip’s Dan Hayden should make for some interesting matches. Hughes is 33-1, has beaten both Rindfleisch and Hayden and is undefeated against Suffolk opposition. He is the favorite to take home the Suffolk championship next weekend.
League IV
113- Chris Mauriello (Hauppauge) vs. Zac Aal (Hills West), rematch of a Jan. 25 win by Mauriello, 2-0.
138- Sam Schwartzapfel (Hauppauge) vs. Zac Lugo (Deer Park).
League V
106- Andrew Roden (Kings Park) vs. Nick Garone (ESM), Roden went undefeated in League V matches during the regular season. Garone, an eighth-grader, has an impressive 32-8 record.
170- Joe Sabbatino (Islip) vs. Jared Usher (ESM).
182- Andrew Ventura (Kings Park) vs. Fumnanya Agbimson (ESM), two of the county’s best at 182 are on a collision course. Ventura won their first meeting, 6-4, back on January 4.
League VI
120- T.J. Fabian (SWR) vs. Matt Leshinger (Sayville)
132- Thomas Dutton (Rocky Point) vs. Tommy Sewell (Glenn), Dutton is 40-1.
152- John Keck (SWR) vs. Nick Princiotta (Glenn)
