Chris Campoli to Hawks, D Bryan Allen to Hurricanes
With less than an hour to go, a few more deals popping up:
-- Former Islander defenseman Chris Campoli goes from the last-place Senators to the Hawks, along with a conditional 7th-round pick, for minor-league F Ryan Potulny and a 2nd-round pick. Campoli, who was dealt (along with fellow unhappy Islander) Mike Comrie at the 2009 deadline for a first-round pick, has been having a quiet couple seasons in Ottawa.
-- Big Panthers defenseman Bryan Allen waived his no-trade clause to go to the Hurricanes for veteran forward Sergei Samsonov. That's seven trades for Florida, who may still yet be able to ship out injured F Chris Higgins before 3 p.m.
-- The Blues sent fourth-line forward Brad Winchester to the Ducks for a 3rd-round pick.
