No brooms for the Boston Bruins. Simon Gagne made a timely return to the lineup, scoring in overtime to help the Philadelphia Flyers hold off elimination by beating the Bruins, 5-4, on Friday night in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinals.

Gagne played for the first time since he broke his right toe in Game 4 of Philadelphia's opening-round series against New Jersey.

Game 5 is Monday in Boston.

Blackhawks 7, Canucks 4

Jonathan Toews scored three power-play goals and had two assists as visiting Chicago took a 3-1 lead in the Western Conference semifinal series. Chicago moved within one win of its second straight trip to the conference finals.- AP
