Islanders name Bo Horvat team captain

Bo Horvat has been named the Islanders' captain, the team announced Monday morning.
Horvat joined the Islanders in 2023 in a trade with Vancouver that sent Anthony Beauvillier, Aatu Raty and a draft pick to the Canucks.
Since then, Horvat leads all Islanders in both goals (99) and points (198).
Horvat, 31, led the Islanders last season with 31 goals in 68 games. He also had 26 assists. It was his fifth straight season of at least 28 goals for
