In a twist of Islanders irony, the news of Ilya Kovalchuk re-signing with the Devils came while I was baking cupcakes (that's not a joke...funfetti and swiss chocolate)...
And so ends the 19-day-long waiting game for the 27-year-old Russian sniper to decide on a destination....the Devils will hold a press conference tomorrow.
