The Islanders will face the Rangers, Devils and Flyers in home-and-home series to comprise their six-game preseason schedule, the team announced on Tuesday.

Their preseason opener is on Sept. 26 against the Rangers at Madison Square Garden and the Islanders’ first preseason game ever at UBS Arena will be on Oct. 2 against the Flyers.

The Islanders will also host the Devils on Oct. 6 and the Rangers on Oct. 8.

The other two road preseason games are against the Devils at Prudential Center on Sept. 27 and against the Flyers at Wells Fargo Center on Oct. 4.

Faceoffs for all six games will be at 7 p.m.

The Islanders will be marking their 50th anniversary season and their first under coach Lane Lambert, who was promoted from associate coach on May 16, one week after president and general manager Lou Lamoriello fired Barry Trotz after four seasons.

The Islanders missed the playoffs for the first time since 2018.

Tickets for all preseason games at UBS Arena will go on sale at a later date and will be available through Ticketmaster.com.
