Tavares, Moulson and Gillies to appear at Isles draft party
The 2010 NHL Draft is less than a week away, and while most of the action is out in LA, the Islanders will be hosting a draft party at Nassau Coliseum on Friday, June 25.
Last year's No. 1 overall pick John Tavares will be there (presumably without his walking boot) as will his teammates Matt Moulson and Trevor Gillies.
Tickets to the event (doors open at 5:30) are free and open to the public.
***On the Islanders' web site, they preview an attraction called the Trevor Gillies 'Stache Station." Not sure exactly what this entails, but I have a feeling this may be a fan favorite...
