Rangers re-sign Ruslan Fedotenko

 The veteran winger was one of the better Ranger forwards in their short playoff stay and is a favorite of John Tortorella's for his consistent play. The deal is reportedly for one year and $1.4-million.

Surprisingly for a guy with two Stanley Cup rings, this will be Fedotenko's eighth consecutive one-year deal. He told me during the postseason that he has never gotten a multi-year contract in his 10-year career.
