Greeting from Chez Zipay, where we'll host our weekly live chat at 2.

Newsday's all-sports vet Mark Herrmann will be over at the Rangers' 11 a.m. practice while I make some calls,  work on my diction ("'sup fellas?") and flex the digits for the flood of questions. He'll be checking in with news, lines, quotes, the whole enchilada.

And you can follow me, as usual, at twitter.com/stevezipay, where you may have first read about Alex Frolov's severe knee damage and KO for the year.

Hmmm. What else?

Canadiens and Canucks visit this week before NYR (charter) and yours truly, (commercial, of course) fly to Montreal for a Saturday game in one of my favorite buildings---and cities--- on the circuit, Bell Centre.

Turns out we may be watching Super Bowl in Montreal as well, looking at sked.

Flashback: Post's Brooksie, the NYT's great Lynn Zinser and I took in the Giants Supe upset of the Pats in Montreal's Chateau Champlain's restaurant. Tabled between groups of sparring Bahston and New York fans. Good times.

Speaking of memories, I've got Leo Kottke's "A Shout Towards Noon" on the turntable to go with the morning coffee. One of top dozen acoustic guitarists in most polls. Yeah. Catch ya at 2...
