Yeah, we know it's only a day before February, but tonight is the last Rangers-Isles matchup of the regular season. The Blueshirts have lost the last two here at MSG, by 5-3 each, in late December and 11 days ago.  They did, of course, win 2-1 outdoors on Wednesday.

Same lineups expected; Henrik Lundqvist is starting his fourth straight game and Evgeni Nabokov his second since returning from a lower-body injury on Jan. 6.

Coach Alain Vigneault expects a little different approach indoors on better ice:

"Both teams were either trying to skate the puck up or once you get to the red line, put it in the area where they couldn’t get to it and play in the other team’s end."

I'd expect another close game, maybe an OT. By the second period, thought we might've had one on Wednesday in the Bronx.

Looking ahead, the Rangers play two more games next week at MSG before flying to Pittsburgh for the last game before the Olympic break next Saturday. Thinkin' Cam Talbot gets a start in one of the two here, perhaps against the Oilers.
