As reported last night, All-Stars Henrik Lundqvist, Mark Staal and Derek Stepan won't be the only returnees to resume practice today.  Del Zotto, Grachev and Newbury have been recalled from the AHL.

So it should be a full practice with the club in Westchester this afternoon: Ryan Callahan and Vinny Prospal may be ready, and we'll have updates on the injures to Dubinsky, Fedotenko and Christensen.

Seems odd to bring Del Zotto back if he wasn't going to play tomorrow against Pittsbugh, Newbury will likely be the fourth line center, as he was before the break; not sure about Grachev, who will have another opportunity while some forwards are out.

Seen from afar here at Chez  Zipay---the weather wound up scuttling our planned mini-vacation to Scottsdale---fans seemed to enjoy Raleigh's All-Star festivities. Personally, I'm pleased the final 35 percent---not half as some have reported---of the real season resumes again today.

So check back often today here and on twitter.com/stevezipay...

We'll have a live chat later this week, perhaps Wednesday. Stay tuned.
