Lisin's buddy Artem Anisimov told us he was probably going to play in Russia, but the right wing accepted the TO offer from the Thrash.

Along with Nik Antropov there's two more ex-Rangers in camp, Nigel Dawes and Patrick Rissmiller. Seems to be a lack of right wing depth in Atlanta without Colby Armstrong and Todd Whiite, and, if Byfuglein is actually moved to D (as coach Craig Ramsay has declared).

If he decides to play more defense, Lisin's speed could land him a spot as a 3rd or fourth-liner.  A comical, bright kid.  Ask me to do his imitation of a baskeball point guard sometime.
